Tribal

Hey gals and guys. The weather is finally starting to look up - emphasis on the finally. Being the kind of girl who loves the sun, heat and everything else which comes with it I am welcoming it with open arms. However, the heat has yet to come...but keep your fingers crossed! This is an outfit I put together to run some errands on my day off - although I will be having many of those as I break up next Wednesday for good. It is crazy what life throws at you sometimes, and quite frankly how quick it does so. Anyway onto the outfit - it is consists of a lot of black. I am the kind of girl who loves to wear black - I have far too much of it. I think adding the necklace and a white top made this outfit look a lot less funeral and more day time like! What do you think?

Jacket - Zara; Top - New Look; Jeans - Fashion Union; Necklace and bracelet - Forever 21; Ring - Primark; Sunglasses - Moschino; Shoes - Forever 21; Bag - Primark

Hop, skip, jump and dazzle.

Hey gals and guys. If you haven't already guessed, I am the kind of girl who loves her shoes. I think to me, shoes do make an outfit. You can dispute it with me all you wish - but my feet, literally, are firmly on the floor on this one. When shopping for a prom dress, I followed my ideology and I based my entire outfit around these shoes. I spotted them on Zara and instantly fell in love. the colour, the shape, the design rushed through my head. I had to have them in my life. So this morning when they arrived, I was so happy. I love them even more in person. To top off the fact that they're beautiful, perfect for summer and everything else...they're only £29.99. If that isn't a steal, I don't know what is. If you want to buy these b-e-a-utiful shoes then you can HERE

Valentino Who?

Hey gals and guys. If you're a bit of a fashion 'keeno' like myself, you will no doubt of seen the Valentino Rockstud shoes on just about anyone and everyone who matters. From The Blonde Salad to Alexa Chung, these shoes have been on absolutely everyone. I have been lusting over them for a good...3 months now? I think they are the most beautiful shoes for the summer. However...I am a student. The practicality of me going and spending £500+ on a pair of shoes when I have to eat, socialise and everything else is not plausible. sigh. But whilst in New York, I popped into Forever 21 and what did I come across? The most perfect dupes for them. I got these about a month ago and I believe they hit the UK a week or so ago, but in both New York and London they are selling fast. Great minds think alike. I was so happy to grab some, and guess what ladies? YOU CAN TOO. If you like these shoes then hop along to the Forever 21 website HERE to check it out! I am so happy I got these beauties, I am sure they can suffice until the real ones come into my possession dreaaaaaams.

Things I love: My Blue Shoes

Hey guys and gals. So...I have a new URL and design ,what do you think? I wanted to change my URL because I was getting so sick of seeing my own name everywhere! I felt like I needed a change, so out with the old and in with the new. Today I wanted to share with you another thing I love. These things I love are things which either make me feel comfortable, stylish and just fabulous. Everyone has them - from a sparkly top to a gorgeous pair of heels. I bought these particular shoes when I was in New York about a month ago now, and I kind of forgot about them until Friday. On Friday I went to see La Boheme in London and wore these - and I instantly fell back in love. This colour is probably my favourite colour this season, and yes it does change most seasons, and I love clashing it with a bright red...rebellious. Blue is one of those colours which goes with most things, and adding a bright blue like this to a drab outfit really makes the outfit! As they are from Forever 21 too they cost around £15 UK price. £15 for something which makes you feel great - it would be rude not to.

Do you have anything which just makes you feel good?

Hey gals and guys. So if you hadn't already guessed, it is exam season. I haven't been blogging or tweeting too much because I have been completely swamped in work, but thank you all for coming back to my blog anyway! As of 3 weeks time I will be up and blogging outfits again, or maybe before depending on how much work I have. Revision is taking over my life. In an attempt to cheer myself up about revision I thought I would make a wishlist - aah. I have been loving Alexander Wang recently and after seeing the Alexander Wang Rocco bag in New York I have been in love ever since.  If you're a fan like myself then check out their accessories on Jules B which is a new online boutique I have been loving recently, if you saw my tweet you will of already known this! If you want to check the collection out then please do so here. I absolutely love the Alexander Wang bits on here, I am thinking of seriously saving to get the Rocco bag. It is so beautiful it just needs to be in my possession!

So if you're revising like myself, why not make a wishlist to help inspire you. I always do that so I look at all these things and think to myself if I work hard, I will be able to get these. If you decide to do a revision wishlist then let me know via comments or tweet me! Also, if you do have exams - GOOD LUCK! They will all be over soon and then you have the whole summer to do whatever you like!

Oh also another notice - I will be changing the name of my blog soon, the url and the design will be changing! So don't be phased if you click onto my blog under the name www.styledevoured.com as it will be this blog still!

Summer Season: Holidays and Festivals

Summer Season: Holidays and Festivals

Hey guys! So for me exam season, gah, is becoming closer and closer. It is something I hate, but regardless it has to be done. The only thing which is keeping me going is the thought of a holiday and since finding out I might be going to Kavos with some friends I felt this only right. Also festival wise, I am hoping to go to Reading again. I wanted to do a holiday and festival inspired outfit! So first of holiday wise - this isn't Kavos but oh well - you need a stunning bikini. I love this one from Melissa Odabash. It is sooo beauts! To top the look off a sun hat - keeps you cool and makes you look fabulous. Is there anything better?

So festival wise. You couldn't go to a festival without wellies and more particular HUNTER WELLIES! I cannot wait to get a new pair, I love them. These particular ones can be found on County House Outdoor (click HERE) and the direct link is PINK HUNTER WELLIES. These are on offer at the moment so grab yours as soon as you can before they all sell out. I am loving the crop top look and with the heat coming, what better time to wear one than at a festival? I think this white one is amazing. Primark have loads like this I believe, so check there before splurging anywhere else!

Top Holiday and Festival Tips

If you're going to a festival, don't be silly about it. I know a lot of people who do go and get into situations which they wouldn't want to. Remember guys - hugs not drugs. However if you find yourself in the situation and you have done something, look online for things such as Leo Claims medical negligence or NHS Symptom Checker and make sure people around you are aware. You might get them on holiday, at a festival or after. Make sure you act on them! I would personally recommend Leo Claims due to them being renowned for getting the job done and if the situation came to it - you'd need that!

Drink loads of water. Keeping hydrated is so important because hydration is so common, but lots of people don't realise it is happening to them. If you want to enjoy yourself and feel good, you need to keep hydrated!

Take enough money. I hate running out and the thought of running out away from home is a horrible one. Make sure you have enough money to ensure you can sort out any emergencies.

If you're going abroad - GET INSURANCE. I cannot stress this point enough. It is so important to make sure you're insured. For £20 you can get insured...for the £4000 it could cost you, it is definitely worth it!

So I understand not everyone will be going away...as much as we wish we all were. I am lucky to of been away already and have the possibility to go again. I won't be for a long time though, so blerg. So if you're not lucky enough to go away, why not take a day trip to London to visit a play. I am thinking of visiting the La Boheme with my nan when I am not working for school or busy with friends, or perhaps a lovely day of shopping in Oxford street. Don't think that because you're not going away you're going to have a grim time - THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER!

Until we speak again!

Things I love: Converse

Hey gals & guys. Following on from my 'Things I love: Red Lipstick" post I wanted to share with you something else I love. Converse are by far my favourite shoes - they look good & are so comfy. I own 4 pairs at present...but they will expand. If you don't own any, you need to get yourself some as soon as possible.  Converse have been around year and many people indulge, they're just one of those things which make me feel comfortable but not necessarily look like I have just thrown on anything I found. If you want to invest in some then check out Ladies Converse.

I personally love a classic pair of white, or my favourite pink ones. I think the pink ones make an outfit, they're so cute and whenever I wear mine I always get a compliment - or two! If you want to buy some of these below(they're the same as mine!) then you can buy them HERE and I would 100% advise you do!

ps. check out La Boheme for an awesome show!

So there you have it, something else I love!
